December, 2020
As we enter the winter Holidays and bid farewell (or just good riddance) to 2020, I have been hopping all over the place working on future projects. I am looking forward to buttoning up some of these projects so that I can focus on Christmas and New Years.
MEMBERS ONLY FREE EVENT!!!
That’s right. I’m doing a members only virtual gathering on Sunday, December 20th from 5:00-6:00 pm Eastern time. Join me for some Sunday fun and feel free to ask questions, comment on the podcasts, share information about your Holiday season, chat with other like minded folks or just stop by to say “hello”. Philip Hernandez will be helping out and available to chat as well. I plan to have a glass of wine during the “virtual open house”, so please feel free to bring your own appropriate adult beverage! We may even have a random drawing for a signed copy of my new book! We're using Zoom and the link is here.
PROJECTS
- I spent a few days in early December working with my new friends at Morey’s Pier in Wildwood, NJ. Thanks to Dino, Ryan and Kevin for making me feel so at home. I look forward to future opportunities.
- “Christmas in the Wild” at ZooTampa is safely providing Holiday cheer for sold out socially distanced crowds! It has been a real pleasure working with the BMorrow Productions and ZooTampa teams. My personal favorite elements of the event are Randolph the Reindeer (the cutest life sized baby reindeer puppet in the world) and the improvised Christmas carols that emerge from guest suggestion in the outdoor show, “Hymnprovise.”
- I just returned from a site survey with a midwestern zoo (reviewing their Christmas event and the local competition). This is another project with the incredible BMorrow Productions.
- New Years Eve will find me ushering in 2021 at CW’s Gin Joint helping run an intimate outdoor party.
